Aprile 3, 2026INTEGRANO at ANTHOS’26: Advancing Safe and Sustainable Materials in Europe
The INTEGRANO project will participate as a co-organising initiative in ANTHOS’26 – Advanced (Nano)Materials and Technologies: From Needs to Solutions, a European conference dedicated to advancing safe and sustainable materials and chemicals.
Following the success of ANTHOS’24 – Advanced (Nano)Materials and Technologies: From Needs to Solutions held in March 2024, the second edition of the conference will bring together European research projects, industry stakeholders, policymakers, and regulatory bodies working to implement the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) framework in the development of advanced materials.
The INTEGRANO team will travel to Vienna to follow the latest developments in the field and share insights from the project’s ongoing work.
Workshop: Co-Creating Integrated Impact Assessment for SSbD
The conference will open on 9 March with the Resilience22 Projects Workshop – Co‑Creating Integrated Impact Assessment for SSbD, co-organised by several European initiatives including SUNRISE, ALCHEMISSTS, INTEGRANO, and INSIGHT.
During the workshop, Lorena Coelho from CeNTI will present “Cross-Case Implementation of Early SSbD Assessment Within INTEGRANO”, highlighting how early-stage SSbD assessment methods are applied across multiple project case studies.
INTEGRANO Contribution to Conference Sessions
INTEGRANO will also contribute to the main conference programme through Massimo Perucca from Project HUB-360, who will co-chair two sessions:
-
Session 1 – Projects Solutions to the Needs of Initiators (EC) – 10 March
-
Session 3 – Projects Solutions to the Needs of Regulators (ECHA) – 11 March
These sessions will explore how European research projects are addressing the needs of policy makers, regulators, and innovation stakeholders in the field of advanced materials.
During the event, the INTEGRANO project will also present four scientific posters, showcasing the project’s latest research results, methodologies, and progress in implementing SSbD approaches for advanced materials.
